Last day of the Lunar Year at last.

Woke up early to help mum prepare prayers stuff. Iron all my new years clothes while mum and dad went to PKFT to pray grandmother. ZzZzz in the afternoon.

Dinner at Gillman's Grand Peony. Simple dinner but still cost more than $200 for 5. I call it Festive Slaughter! But the good thing is that the palce is not crowded and we could actually take our time to eat and even can sit and chatted like for about 20 minutes before leaving.

Going to HIT and Chinatown now.

Busy dating today.

Met up with Cauli at Chinatown Vegetarian Aunty Shop for dinner and then go to Jurong IMM shop at Daiso but didn't manage to get anything though. Finally ate some mango pudding since I had the craving like two weeks ago.

Back to Toa Payoh to meet with Andy from Potong Pasir for ice cream at Swensons but didn't really talk much just some polite small talk.

Then went to Justin's place to pass him his V Day pressie and hear him pour his woes about the bonus he didn't get and some unhappiness at his work place.

Grossly over spent for Chinese New Year.

Had my hair cutted at Cabella Casa by Ben after lunch then headed over Beauty World to consult Irene about which day to start work for the New Year. Glad that I visited her as she gave me some tips to overcome obstacles for the coming year.

Wanting to go down to Chinatown and unsure of which bus to take, I hopped on bus number 75 which I know will end up in Marina Center. I alighted at Great World City on impulse when the bus pass by there and the impulse cost me $43.00!

Cause I bought a red shirt at WH for the first day as the original clothes I planned to wear are too dull for the festive. I actually tried all the red and orange shirts in the store and non of them was nice. Then I spotted something I haven't seen earlier when I almost give up and yes, its the one.

Took the shuttle bus to Chinatown and bought more undies at OG. No prize for guessing the colour. Bought all the sweets for prayers at the Chinatown New Year stalls and had dinner at Vegetarian Aunty shop.

Have to be a hermit for the rest of the week liao.

Overspent

Was dated out by Roger who added me in Friendster and exchanged contacts from there.

Came back to have dinner first before heading down to Bugis Junction to meet him. Quite a reserved guy but was nice chatting with him. His tattoos on the neck and hand turns me on sia.

Bought shoes from Bugis Village @ $66.00. Original budget was $39.90 but first pair I saw @ $45.00 didn't have my size. The pair I bought was the right colour to match my slacks.

Thought of picking up the sweets for prayers on Eve and First Day from Chinatown. Took a bus there and by the time I reached the stall, they were already closed. Overcame the urge to cabbie home and was fun rushing for the last NEL train and the connection at Dhorby Ghuat.

Actually already over spent today. Cabbie home to work = $12.00, cabbie halfway to home = $5.00, cabbie home to Bugis = $6.00, shoes over budget = $26.00 food & drinks = $9.00. Total Expenses is $58.00 when my income for today is only $60.00 - actually is $48.00 after CPF or more accurately $45.00 after income tax.

Have to eat grass for the next week liao.

Haiz, was another 24 hours Friday.

Went down to the six dollars club at about mid night as I have a free entry ticket. Had fun but didn't stay too long. Cabbie there and back cost like twenty something dollars lor.

ZzzZZ the whole afternoon away when I had plan to my pack my room lor. Still have the CD rack area, table area and bookshelves to pack lor. Anyway, too tired to do anything also

HST people came over to TPY uncle's der so went over to meet them after eating black mee for dinner at Blk 75 lor. Had fun chatting with them and playing fire also.

Went shopping at Suntec, Marina and Vivo with Justin after work today.

Bought a t-shirt from U2 at Suntec, jeans and another t-shirt from Inbase at Marina Square, Bowls for prayers from Daiso at Vivo. Popped over to Harbour Front for a while. Very tempted to get a handphone @ $68.00 - no contract whatsoever but overcame the urge to splurge.

Lunch was at Suntec Basement Food Court, had Taiwan Noodles and yes, its the first time tasting something similar to authentic Taiwan food. Dinner at Long John's, seldom eat but the taste is so so nia.

Went look at St James Power Station from the link bridge. Yar lar sua ku never see before mah.

Went Chinatown after work today.

Suppose to meet up with Cauli but she can't make it at the last minute.

Spent sometime at the cyber cafe before heading over to walk the New Year stalls. It's the usual Lunar New Year goodies and the crowd is just moderate. Bought a piece of Double Fish Jade for My Prince and a aromatherapy set to replace my chipped burner.

Wanted to eat Aunty's Vegeterian shop but she is closed. So lan lan walk all the way back to eat Mee Sua at the Basement Food Court. Very tempted to cabbie home but manage to overcome the urge and guai guai took the train home.

Packed my dressing table and tea pot cupboard and will go on to pack the music rack tomolo. Think should be able to finish packing my room in time for the new year.

Tuesday work four hours shift onli.

Yesterday never wash clothes so this morning was washing clothes, surfing net and reading I-Weekly at the same time. Realised it will be veri rush if take MRT to work when everything is done. So lan lan spent twelve dollars cabbied to the the airport.

Didn't feel like going home after work so went to the new IKEA at Tampines. Its big but the layout seems haphazard. Bought a table lamp at $7.90 but the bulb cost $15.90 for two. KNN, bulb more expensive then the lamp sia.

Hopped over to Courts next door but only stayed awhile. Then took the shuttle bus to Punggol MRT to take the NEL to Kovan and change 153 back home.

Will be broke real soon at the rate I am spending.

So I am not working on Eve, First Day and Second Day of the Lunar New Year. Which means I have to start work on the third day.

Should I try my luck and ask for one more day leave as I dun like to start work on the third day. Either I can go back on Second Day for yi si yi si or check the Tong Sheng to see any auspicious time to start work on Third Day.

No concrete plans today.

Suppose to meet up with someone from SGBoy at Lorong AH Soo in the morning but KNN tio tuan sia, wasted nin pei's time. So after jalan jalan a bit here and there ended up in a cyber cafe at Kovan Center to pass time.

Met up with Desmond at Stand Hotel to catch up coz we like almost one year never meet up liao. The first thing we both say to each is:"Can see your pot belly lei." Kan na sai, dun know want to cry or laugh better.

Then go over to SLF for dinner but as I was early, ended up helping them with some odds and ends before we sat down to have dinner. Stopped over at 453 Macs for a short while to chat with Jeremy before making way to the next event.

Was real late for the Karaoke Function organised by the forum guys . Actually its the first time I am meeting them so didn't really enjoy myself but overall was quite fun lah. Won a voucher for a massage in the lucky draw and the door gift has a bottle of aromatherapy oil that I wanted to get. So can save on this two items this month liao.

Dun misunderstand hor, nin pei not talking about pai kia number lah.

Its that last Friday and this Friday was like 24 hours never sleep lor. Coz last Friday I woke up at 0200 to go work, then dun know do wat until Sat morning 0200 then sleep. Today also same, wake up at 0245 and until now still haven sleep.

Actually suppose to meet Tian Cheng they all after work one but last minute cancelled so went for a foot massage and then surf net at home the whole afternoon.

Then after watched the 7pm show on CH 8, went over to HST to collect the disc for HFG de big day. Veri short onli disc about 10 mins onli. some say good editing some say like very messy but watever, as long as got things to see can liao lor.

Then when waiting for bus to go home, dun know why suddenly go call Jason Young and meet him to lar kopi. Talk cock abit and then come home liao. Now hungry and going to see where to go eat supper.

Maybe I should wait till 0245 den sleep so I can say Friday is 24 hours day for me.

Finally get pay liao.

Went to buy things at Bugis before go work today. Actually hor is want to get a tie to give to my Supervisor who kenan promote to become Duty Manager.

Dun call me cheap skate hor because I buy the tie is 2 for $20 on sale de but I onli give him one tie, a dark blue one because his heng heng colour is blue. The other one is light blue one I keep to tie myself.

Then also buy underwear. Dun know wat to get so in the end get a box of boxer briefs made in china one. The material is translucent one lor can see the skin de. Of coz the important part there the material is thicker and cannot see one lah.

When want to go off that time see got short sleeve shirt onli $5, den think can wear for Chinese New Year so also bought it. Got see pants also but no time to try liao, so maybe will go see another day.

First day get pay nia already spend almost $200 liao, how to tahan till end of the month sia.

Today planned to go out after work one but I never call anybody.

Then I msg Cauli after work and we met at Chinatown - where else? We decide to eat the Korean Food at Mosque Street instead of the usual Vegetarian Aunty there. Every time chiak chay also sianz si bo?

She say can onli reach at 7 plus so I go surf net at the Lan Shop in People's Park Shopping Center to read all the Live Journal and comments and replies and e-mails. Damn confusing one the names of the few building around there one so safe is to say I went to the building opposite Chinatown Point.

Outside the lan shop got a stall selling odds and ends then I see got the shower foam I used when I went back for reservist at $3.90; so bought one lor coz my shower foam just nice also finish liao. Then see got this water based hair spray so also bought it but $7.90 lei. How come a smaller bottle of water cost more ex then a big bottle of liquid?

I wait for Cauli in the Korean Food Shop for almost half hour but I was writing out a list of which sintua to send new year cards to so not boring lor. Veri bad for the shop turn over coz I chop one table for so long. Ha ha.

Last time when they first open, we can sit there from 7 plus to 10 o'clock also no one come in but now the business so good that they have to put tables outside the corridor! But the food is good and best is they have five or six complimentary side dishes which always veri nice de.

I eat the usual BBQ Chicken while Cauli eat her usual Hot Stone Bowl Rice. After eat liao we go over to Tea Chapter to drink tea. I finish writing all the new year cards there but most I dun have the address lei!

Today is Pay Day lei but untill now the pay still not in the bank account lei.

Last week nin pei work onli thirty hours nia but whole week like damn tired and bo cheng sin. Even at work that time also sianz sianz like dat.

Wanted to guai guai stay at home at nite.

But then hor, when Denson called to say they need people to help at Hu Song Dian, I lan lan have to go over coz owe them a few favours liao.

Then dun know why suddenly I go msg Cauli and ask her want go together anot and she also funny, first time agree to go with me to these kind of event.

Stupid thing is I suppose meet her on the bus when her bus reach outside Bukit Batok Inter but I go up the wrong bus! Then when I realised and alighted but also walk the wrong way somewhere. Heng she saw me and call me wait.

Denson also abit pukimon, got enough people liao also neber call me to say, so I didn't help them afterall but hang around and socialise awhile den go eat dinner with Cauli at nearby the kopi-tiam.

After eat lioa, Cauli go home while I stay untill they all finish. At first thought still got the Express Bus 506 but Ah Xiang Aunty saw me waiting and told me the bus finish at 10 plus.

Then think bo bian must take cab liao. But got a few groups of people waiting so I didn't want to be pai-kia but gentlemanly wait for them to go first. Heng ah, see got one bus 157 like got go TPY.

So took the bus and save on the cab fare.

I love 0800 shift.

Cause of all the eye candies I get to see at the interchange when I reached there to change into the MRT. And if the timming is right, sure can get a seat in the train all the way to the airport.

My team mates bought me a small birthday cake to celebrate my birthday plus one. But was a bit pai-sei when they sang the birthday song at the counter! Nevertheless it is touching and I had a warm feeling through out.

Planned to go swim after work but somehow ended up surfing the net at Bedok Cybermatrix. The worst thing is I went down to the six dollars club when I am already dead broke and dead tired!

Birthday Dinner with family.

Great food, excellent company and what more can I ask for? Someone to hold hands with? The year seems to start out alright for me but barely two weeks into the new year, Unfavourable changes are already happening. But will just wait out with patience and see what will happen next.

Have been starting shift at 0400 this whole week on days with morning flight but there will be no such chances from next week onwards.

Thought will be late for work.

Start at 0800 means I normally leave the house at 0645 to catch the 0650 bus. I usually will meet a rather cute school boy staying on the twentieth floor if I leave house at this time.

The lift will usually go up to the top floor before stopping at my floor. Or sometimes it would go up to after it stop at my floor if the boy manage to press the lift. But today, the lift didn't come down with the cutie nor did it want to to go up after I went in.

So trying my luck, I took the lift to the top floor but didn't get to see him.

And I miss the 0650 feeder bus although I did make it to work on time.

Just realized that I am tied and belted by Goldlion at work.

OT for 0400 the whole of this week for days with the morning flight! Anyway, this shoud be the last week that it will be happening as my yet-to-release new roster only allows me to work 30 hours per week with strictly no OT.

New member in the Team and the only thing to say about him: Makes us Vormit Blood. Cannot even perform simple and basic skills yet keep saying that the procedure in his old team is different. Of course lah, different airlines got different requirements mah! No wonder he got kicked out from his old team.

Cannot even trouble-shoot when his computer system hang. And the best part is when his computer system hang, his mind also hang. Lucky he understudy me, if some of my other team mates take him, he probably will end up crying as they are known for their harsh words and dislike for members who don't pull in their weight in the team.

My Team consist of the best from different teams when it was set up at the beginning of the year so expectation of our performance is very high. One weak link and all our hard work will go down the drain.

Might need to get a tie-pin as my tie got caught in a very awkward position today.

But heard from Mike that my roster will be changed to have one more day off on Mondays and the total working hours cannot exceed thirty hours per week. Which means that I will have more time on hand but will earn drastically less than what I have expected.

Take it? Or convert to another scheme that follows roster patterns and earn more but having less or totally no control over my working hours.

Money or Freedom?

Time certainly flies working at The Airport. It is slightly more than one month since I went back to work but it seems like I have been back for ages.

This was what happened to me last week. Had a sudden irk to buy get a pair of boxers. The was like looking here and there but none seems to catch my fancy until New Year's Eve. Finally got it at Watson's, you know they always have those 'lay long' items in the bins. 3.90 only.

Was OT till 1830 today but not stated on the Board but I don't mind.

Second Day of the New Year.

OT from 0600 - 0800 which was on the board and further OT from 1600 - 1900 which was not on the board. So worked a total of 13 hours today.

Forget to put in the previous post that in addition to all the new stuff in the New Year, I also have a new hair style - actually is same the same short spiky one and a new hair colour - though it is not that obvious but still can tell its dyed.

Pathetic to have dinner alone on both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. But I am born to be a loner. Luckily there's dinner at home today.

Wanted to take a cab home but overcame the urge and went to take the train instead. Still made in home in about an hour.

Must restrain myself that can only take cab to or from work on Sundays and Holidays only.

Almost, having all things new.

New uniform in a new team with a new roster and quite glad that this current roster is quite manageable.

Bought six pair of grey socks to go with the new grey pants which is rather uncomfortable to wear and also have six new red briefs. Just nice for a six day work week.

But only have two set of uniforms which definitely not enough.

2006 was lousy.

But I had fun doing some things that I really wanted to do but didn't have a chance in my younger days.

2007 will be a good year.

- Settling down in my not so new job with a new roster in a new team and going to enjoy it.

- Widening my social circle making more friends and hopefully find someone that can holds hands with.

- Support was what my family gave me and will treasure them and be more appreciative of them.

- Probably will commit to teach Buddhism or Enrichment if the time factor works out.

- Have been meeting up with old friends and will be doing it more often.

That about sums up my resolutions for 2007. Nothing new but its a should serve an overview how will I go about in the new year.
